Old-style leadership, characterized by control and command, micromanagement, bureaucracy, and rigid vertical structures, is gradually fading - though still prevalent.

New leadership approaches are emerging, embracing conscious, heart-centered, and coaching styles, along with flat management structures that prioritize culture, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion. However, these approaches still have a long way to go – a major paradigm shift of leadership is underway, alongside how organisations are structured and function.

The future demands leaders and organizations not only focused on profits but also committed to serving and respecting people and the environment. The next generation of leaders must possess evolved skills and undergo a transformative journey. Traditional Leadership simply won’t cut it anymore.

Our purpose is to help a new generation of Evolved Leaders to emerge – we call these leaders SoulWise ™ Leaders.

Some thoughts about leadership from our founders

    • An ability to inspire and energise

    • Wise – an ability to see the bigger picture, see consequences, act for the highest good of all, and step outside of their conditioning and access innate wisdom

    • A high level of leadership presence (not to be confused with charisma!)

    • Deeply empathic, kind, and compassionate – able to function from the heart level

    • Personally developed – they have high levels of awareness and have eliminated many of their inner obstacles – they are comfortable being with their and others’ emotions and are authentic, ethical, transparent, and honest.

    • Able to be vulnerable and create high levels of trust and psychological awareness.

    • Has developed higher communication skills including a coaching style and non violent communication

    • Access intuitive wisdom and information at both a heart and a gut level

    • Hold a leadership space without needing to control

    • Have a profound sense of purpose and inspire similar in others

    • Is no longer functioning from ego

    • Can shift from doing mode to being mode

    • Can think rationally, strategically, and equally creatively and spontaneously.

    • Know how to simplify things and are able to intuitively navigate complexity

    • Understands new management structures and how employee autonomy fosters higher performance

    • Act as Conscious evolved leaders in which profit, people, and the planet all are important.

    Many people pay lip service or aspire to these ideals. To truly live them requires training and development and a strong commitment and willingness to follow a transformational leadership journey.

  • Is one that has a progressive management system in which employees are highly valued, respected, and trusted and whose potential and well-being are actively nurtured; and which operates from an evolving common sense of a higher purpose that goes beyond mere profit and instead positively impacts the world.

    Such organizations have highly evolved leadership teams whose presence is a constant source of inspiration. They are likely to have a flat management structure with strong team autonomy in which individuals are encouraged to show initiative. Consequently, there is strong all-round engagement as everyone works to a common purpose.

    There is strong parallel between such highly evolved leaders and the TEAL organisation outlined in Fredric Laloux’s book “Reinventing Organisations” which is part of our inspiration.

    We are also inspired by the organisations described in the wonderful book: “Corporate Rebels: Make Work more Fun” by Joost Minnaar and Pim de Morree.
